The story follows Park Min-young in the role of Mok Hae-won. Dejected by broken relationships and betrayals while living in the big city, her heart hardens and she becomes distrustful of others. And so, in order to escape the Seoul and find reprieve, she returns to her hometown in the countryside where she visits a small independent bookshop.

The bookstore is run by Im Eun-seob, played by Seo Kang-joon, who was classmates with Park’s character when they were children. Warm and gentle, he’s known to be very thoughtful and considerate in all of his relationships with people and finds enjoyment in life’s small moments. Having had a crush on Park when they were young, he’s taken aback when he sees her again in their hometown. As the two reconnect as adults, they gradually fall in love as well. -Dramabeans
